What is it about? πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

A great Hadeeth that gives a clear vison of what the Deen (Religion) of Islam is.
We will concentrate on the matter of faith (Iman).
We will study it from the explanation of Shaykh Ibn Othaimeen rA.

In this Dars will discuss: πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
The Belief in (Noble books) is the 3rdd pillar of Iman (Faith) in the Deen ..
How to believe in them?
Which ones names are known to us?
Are the previous one still valid?
Why Al Quraan is different?
Did Allah Taala speak them truly?

The 8th Dars (class):

[3rd pillar: The Belief in Noble Books].

3- The Belief in Holly Books

It is the true belief that AllΓ’h has descended some Noble Books of His to some of His Messengers and Prophets. And it is the true belief that the Qur’Òn abrogated all preceding Books and that AllΓ’h has privileged Qur’Òn by some characteristics, and that AllΓ’h has spoken it actually.

The Noble Books that we mean here are those which AllΓ’h descended to His Messengers and Prophets as a Mercy from AllΓ’h and a Guidance to people in order to achieve happiness in this world and in the Hereafter.

The Belief in Holly Books includes four different aspects:

First: the belief that they were truly descended down from AllΓ’h.

Second: the belief in what we were informed by their names, such as the Qur’Òn which was descended to Muhammad ο·Ί, and the Tawrat (Torah) of Musa (Moses), and the Injil (Gospel) of Isa (Jesus), and the Zabur (Psalms) of Dawud (David), and we believe as a whole in those which are unknown to us.

Third: the belief in what we know it is sound in them and reached us, such as what the Qur’Òn comprehended and what is still not distorted from the preceding Books.

Fourth: to fulfill all ordinances which were not abrogated and be satisfied with and accept with full submission whether we perceived its foresight or not. In fact, all Books before the Qur’Òn are abrogated by the Qur’Òn, AllΓ’h Taala said,

 β€œΩˆΩŽΨ£ΩŽΩ†Ψ²ΩŽΩ„Ω’Ω†ΩŽΨ§ Ψ₯ΩΩ„ΩŽΩŠΩ’ΩƒΩŽ الْكِΨͺَابَ Ψ¨ΩΨ§Ω„Ω’ΨΩŽΩ‚Ω‘Ω Ω…ΩΨ΅ΩŽΨ―Ω‘ΩΩ‚Ω‹Ψ§ Ω„ΩΩ…ΩŽΨ§ Ψ¨ΩŽΩŠΩ’Ω†ΩŽ ΩŠΩŽΨ―ΩŽΩŠΩ’Ω‡Ω مِنْ الْكِΨͺَابِ ΩˆΩŽΩ…ΩΩ‡ΩŽΩŠΩ’Ω…ΩΩ†Ω‹Ψ§ ΨΉΩŽΩ„ΩŽΩŠΩ’Ω‡Ωβ€

- meaning – β€œTo you We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety”. Therefore, one can not adopt one of the preceding Books laws except if it is sound and approbated by the Qur’Òn.

The Belief in the Holly Books brings forth to the believer so many significant benefits, like:

First: to know how AllΓ’h cares for His slaves, for He has descended to every people a Book to guide them.

Second: to know the Wisdom of AllΓ’h in His legislation, for he decreed for every people what is suitable for them, He said,

 β€œΩ„ΩƒΩ„ Ψ¬ΨΉΩ„Ω†Ψ§ Ω…Ω†ΩƒΩ… Ψ΄Ψ±ΨΉΨ© ΩˆΩ…Ω†Ω‡Ψ§Ψ¬Ψ§β€

- meaning – {To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way}.

Third: to perform all praise and thanks to AllΓ’h for this.
