Surat Al-Aadyat is another short Surah of Juzu Amma (30th chapter of Noble Quraan) ..
It means: (Those That Run), after various swears, Allah Taala describes human nature in matters of greediness ..
Overall meaning : I swear by the war horses which run so swiftly that they snort hard, by those that strike sparks of fire as they dash their hooves against stones while running, and by those that make a sudden attack on the enemy early in the morning, leaving a trailing cloud of dust in their wake and cleaving thorough the middle of the enemy that man is indeed very ungrateful to his Lord despite all the blessing He has bestowed upon him, that man himself bears witness to this and that he is passionate in his love for wealth.
Does man not, then, know his ultimate end when Allah brings forth the dead from their graves for judgement and recompense and reveals the secrets of people’s hearts?! Their Lord will, on Resurrection Day, have full knowledge of them and will repay them according to their deeds and treat them as they deserve..
And here is Tafseer of this Surah by Shaykh Ibn Uthaimeen rA, (translated):
